Finally, the challenge is over. It was a long,
tough journey but it was for the best and I really feel like I have helped save
and conserve energy for the world and future generations. Unfortunately, I am
undecided on if I will continue to sleep with the TV on or off. I mean, when I
look at the stats, Yes I have gotten to get better sleeps at night and I have
been able to get up in the morning better, but I really feel like I miss out on
some of my favorite shows. Even though they are re-runs…I still love to watch
them and I like to sleep with the TV on. My parents have not yet come to me and
they have not told me that my sleeping with the TV on has made to electric bill
go up or anything like that because they ALL do it to.
And also it was dangerous falling asleep with my TV on because back when
there wasn’t anything good on, I would watch Netflix and fall asleep with that
on. The reason that was dangerous was because I have a Plasma Screen TV in my
room. I watch Netflix on my Xbox 360, and when I fell asleep my controller
turns off and the screen doesn’t move. If you leave the screen on for too long,
the picture can get frozen on the screen and ruin the TV. If that ever happened
then oooooweeeeeee…..I’d be in so much trouble probably. I am really having a
hard time trying to decide whether or not I would leave the TV on or off.
Lately I have been turning it off about 10:30 pm every night. That has been
working really well for me and I have been able to get up at night. Maybe I
will try both out to see how I feel and go from there.

I feel the 30 day challenge was success even though there were
some nights that I caved in. I feel like I really did a part in saving and
conserving energy for the rest of the world to use and not being selfish about
it. Plus I had fun designing and putting together a real website for the first
time and actually having it put on the web. A resource that could maybe help me or
anyone with my decision on if I will keep going with turning the TV off is

with, especially when it comes to making
decsions.
